Use your medication every day exactly as your healthcare professional prescribes. Speak with your healthcare professional before adding any products to your routine.
Here are some suggestions to help you get the best results possible:
Use a gentle cleanser—something mild and non-medicated that is oil-free and non-comedogenic (won't clog pores). Be careful not to over-wash or scrub your face—doing so can further irritate your skin.
Use a non-irritating, hypoallergenic, fragrance-free, and non-comedogenic moisturizer. The moisturizer should have a Sun Protection Factor (SPF) of 15 or higher to protect your sensitive skin from the sun's rays.
Be sure to wear sunscreen that is oil-free with an SPF factor of 15 or higher.
This will just make your acne worse and may cause scars.
Your acne may take several weeks to clear, but by keeping on track with your medication, it will get better.
Reminder: Ask your healthcare professional before you use other products
Some moisturizers, sunscreens, and cosmetics clog pores. Don’t use other skin products without asking your healthcare professional first.
