Real-World Results1

Patients Using Micro Properly (P.U.M.P.) Study measured treatment success in real-world clinical settings reflective of everyday practice.1

P.U.M.P. Study Design

  • 12-week, open-label, community-based, phase 4 study
  • 544 participants with mild-to-moderate acne vulgaris
  • Diverse ages, ethnic groups, and skin types
  • As in everyday life, investigators could tailor patient therapy by selecting or combining up to two additional non-retinoid acne treatments*
  • Two full pumps of RETIN-A MICRO® (tretinoin gel) microsphere, 0.04% or 0.1% Pump applied every night, or as directed

P.U.M.P. Study Confirms that the RETIN-A MICRO® Pump Delivers:1

High tolerability

Minimal adverse events

High rates of improvement

86% of patients achieved mild acne to clear skin at week 12

High compliance

95% of patients reported high compliance

High satisfaction

3x greater satisfaction over baseline at week 12

*Additional concomitant therapies did not include other retinoid products. If two additional concomitant therapies were used during the study treatment period, only one of these additional treatments could be a topical therapy
